Menlo Park Fire Protection District CERT will be hosting an online presentation on the California Brace and Bolt Grant program this coming Saturday, October 22, 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Janiele Maffei, Chief Mitigation Officer of the California Earthquake Authority, will present information on:
- Information on the Earthquake Brace + Bolt grant program that can provide up to $3,000 to seismic retrofit your home
- Earthquake risk in our area
- What you can do to protect and strengthen your house against earthquake damage
- New supplementary grants coming soon to underserved neighborhoods
- Details on how to register and qualify for the grant programs
